Qahs is a very chilled Miqo'te in general; he wants everyone to simply live happily and be at peace. That said, he is fiercely protective of Nature and the natural world, and has been known to use his magic to ensorcell poachers and people he deemed a threat to the area. He cares deeply about people, going out of his way to heal those in need, but his priority is always going to be nature. He has no real ambition or drive to what he does, but at times has gotten into fierce debate regarding the elementals and can become almost preachy about his beliefs.

Backstory

Born to a traditional clan deep in the Shroud, Qahs'ra was raised with love and a deep, abiding respect for the woods and the Elementals. His skill for conjuratiom was found early when he healed a wounded deer back to health outside their home, and so he was sent to the guild for formal training. However, that's when his path began to divert. He took lessons from Padjal that simply didn't ring true to him, words regarding nature and the Elementals that he didn't find himself believing in. Nature had always been special to him, his affinity for plants and animals often ranking higher than his affinity for his fellow Spoken, and when learning the history of the pact with the Elementals, things came to a head. Nightmares and visions broke his sleep, and before long, Qahs wound up leaving Gridania.Wandering around in the Shroud, he found himself in tune with nature, and as time passed, he came to realise that nature was independent, and thus rose his belief that the elementals had usurped nature, had used it as a bargaining chip against the spoken races, but nature was far more than that. The planet itself had a heartbeat, one that went far beyond the reach of the elementals, and they simply manipulated it within the Shroud. And so he began to train himself alone, following the call of nature.

Current Events

-Now older, Qahs lives a semi-hermited lifestyle. He lives alone within the wilds of the Shroud, but he makes his way into the towns and city of Gridania as the need and urge arises. He comes to take part in ceremonies of worship, but he doesn't engage with anything that praises the elementals; he's travelled beyond the range of the Shroud and knows that nature truly goes beyond them now.

OOCly you can call me Sarto.I’m from the UK, so I usually keep EU times, but I also work shifts, including nights, so sometimes my timezone is a bit fucky.
